September 19-21st we attended NAIBA's (New Atlantic Independent Bookseller's Association) fall conference in Atlantic City. What a great time we had, and were able to meet some established and new up and coming authors. Pics from our trip:
       

                             





Butterfly release!  Fall 2011 we gathered Monarch caterpillars and brought them in for our customers to see change from caterpillar to chrysalis to monarch butterfly. These special young customers each got to release one to be with it's family outside. The little girl even had butterflies on her shirt!! Now those butterflies will make their way to Southern California or Mexico to hibernate for the winter and start the cycle over next spring. You just never know what you will see at The Bookworm!!
