The Bookworm originally started out as a discount bookstore and paperback exchange. We have carried through on that theme through the years and expanded on the exchange. See our Book Trade Policy page. We carry bestsellers dicounted 15% everyday, remaindered books which are at least 1/2 off the cover price and pre-read books.
If there is a book you are looking for that we do not have in stock we will gladly order it for you at 15% off with no shipping charges or fees. We can generally have it here for you to pick up in 10 days or less. We also offer Direct to Home service which allows us to ship a book directly from our warehouse to your home or someone else's home for a small shipping charge.
Our pre-read books range from cookbooks to horror and everything in between (although some people's cooking IS horrific!! haha!). Our books are very well arranged, they are separated into categories and from there fiction is alphabetized by author's last name. If there is a question about an author we are happy to look it up for you, we do not have our inventory in a database but are happy to help you check shelves or order it in for you.
Our kids' books room has a wide variety of books. We have baby board books, children's storybooks, chapter books for emerging readers, middle grade books, and young adult books for leisure and school reading. We try to keep a good selection of local school reading on hand.
